Anglian certified as a Green Deal and ECO Installer

(10th January 2013)

An exciting year beckons for Anglian following the recent certification to PAS 2030:2012 as a Green Deal and ECO Installer.

The assessment was carried out by the Energy Saving Trust, an official UKAS accredited body who provide Green Deal certification, it included a thorough audit of Anglian’s management systems and installation process.

PAS 2030:2012 outlines the specification required under the Green Deal and ECO initiative to install energy efficiency measures to existing buildings.

“We are delighted in our achievement of PAS 2030:2012 which formally opens our door to the Green Deal and ECO markets. Achieving this standard was relatively straightforward as we already hold an integrated management system and the Investors in People accreditation.

"We selected the Energy Saving Trust to work with as our audit body, their approach was thorough and professional, but remained friendly and helpful throughout the process. We now look forward to maximising the business opportunities in this exciting market" said John Fairweather, Sales Director for Anglian. “The Green Deal is a great opportunity for installers across all sectors."

"Getting certified is an essential first step to working under the Green Deal – and the Energy Saving Trust is one organisation making sure that only trusted tradesmen can operate as part of the scheme" said Tom Lock, Certification Manager at the Energy Saving Trust.
