Timber orangery to be unveiled at Hampton Court Palace Flower Show

(04th July 2013)

A new timber orangery with traditional styling will be unveiled by Anglian Home Improvements at this year’s Hampton Court Palace Flower Show (9-14 July 2013), at the Celebrity Speakers & Catwalk in Bloom Theatre. Complete with a wooden roof, the orangery is particularly suitable for conservation areas and period properties.

Anglian’s elegant wooden orangery is the latest addition to its extensive conservatory and orangery range. Bespoke designed to fit the customer’s exact requirements and complement the style of their property, the orangery provides an attractive and seamless extension to the home, as well as bringing an element of the garden indoors.#

Orangeries are becoming increasingly popular nowadays, although originally they were the preserve of the aristocracy. However, modern technology means they can be manufactured much more efficiently and built more quickly, bringing the cost down and making the once luxurious aspiration of having an orangery a reality for many of the UK’s homeowners.

All Anglian orangeries and conservatories come in a wide range of designs and finishes, from traditional to contemporary and from wood to uPVC, with a host of modern options available such as bi-fold doors and a solar controlled glass roof.

The timber orangery will be located on stand DD1 at the entrance to the Celebrity Speakers & Catwalk in Bloom Theatre which is sponsored by Anglian Home Improvements. A team of celebrities will host regular talks at the theatre, including John Craven, Kate Humble, Tim Wonnacott, Linda Barker, Bill Oddie and David Domoney. These will be interspersed with a glorious fashion catwalk show featuring horticultural inspired themes, including a guest appearance on the exclusive preview evening by TV actress and Anglian Ambassador, Sally Geeson.

Melanie McDonald, Head of Marketing and Communications at Anglian Home Improvements, says, “As one of the highlights of the year for the UK’s garden enthusiasts, the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show is the perfect place for us to launch our new timber orangeries. Anglian’s timber orangery provides a stylish extension that enables homeowners to bring the outside in and enjoy their gardens all year round, whatever the weather.”

To mark this year’s Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, Anglian and David Domoney have compiled Ten Top Tips to help you get the most out of the event, which is downloadable from the Anglian Home Improvements website.
